I must say a couple of things. The intro music takes on new meaning. I'd not seen it before. It seems like they re-shot the end of Tokyo drift. And the runway must have gone around the world twice. I'm OK suspending belief for everything really, but damn that's a long ass runway. Anyone do the science on just how long it must have been? I'm guessing 30-40 miles.

I've seen a few estimates and did a rough one myself. Comes out to about 25-30 miles.

There's suspension of disbelief, and then there's this.

they didnt really re shoot it as add so0me details we assumed in tokyo drift. We see Han die but not who hit him, so adding jason statham actually worked out well - there is nothing for us to argue that he didnt hit him

Someone calculated about 23-26 miles.

I think the longest runway in the world is like 3 miles.

I didn't recall seeing an Audi hit him.

Wait. Did they actually drive on to a cargo plane at 120mph? But actor The Rock did say in an interview that the cars were travelling at 115mph (185km/h) when they drove on to the plane, so we did some calculations based on that.

If you enjoyed the non-physics of the runway, then you have the right mind for "How It Should Have Ended" on YouTube. They did one for Fast Six.

Personally I loved the flick. Then again I remembered to turn my brain completely off before re-installing my Speed Racer OS circa 1975. Good times.

I enjoyed it. I even enjoyed jumping out of the road runner across a bridge and landing on another parked car without receiving any injuries. My brain just had a hard time with the 20 mile runway. It refused to accept it. Which may be a movie first for me.

Nothing wrong with that . . . just proves you're human.
